Bithumb Global becomes Divi's second most active market
Last week, $DIVI trading went live on Bithumb Global. The new trading venue has quickly become Divi's second most active market. It seems that the users on Bithumb are taking interest in the project and current community members are getting acquainted with the platform.
If you're curious to learn more about the listing or about our exchange strategy moving forward, head over to our recent blog post.
$DIVI PowerPiggy investments on Bitrue
Bitrue, Divi's most liquid exchange, offers an interest-based investment model called PowerPiggy. PowerPiggy allows users to allocate funds that they are keeping on the exchange to an interest-bearing account that pays out daily. In the case of Divi, a 7.3% interest rate is on offer.
This morning, June 19th, 2020, the first traunch of PowerPiggy investing went live and sold out in roughly one and a half minutes. If you missed out, don't fret, another traunch will be available tomorrow at 10:00 (UTC+8).
It is important to us that everyone, from all walks of life, and at every income level have access to the opportunities that cryptocurrency provides. PowerPiggy is a great option for individuals who:
Don't have enough $DIVI to run a full staking node
Can't run their computer 24/7
Don't have a desktop computer
Prefer to keep their coins on-exchange
Aren't familiar with other forms of staking (pools, WhatsApp, etc.)
This is a mandatory update to the core, however it is only necessary if you are running a CLI node. That means, if you are running Divi Desktop, you can ignore this update. We are preparing an auto-update to the Desktop wallets.
For those of you who are running a CLI node, the update will only become mandatory at block 1,000,000, which won't occur until roughly October.
Divi Core Version 1.1.2 Changelog
