Divi Development Update - May 4th, 2018

This week we made progress around governance including completing the parameters of the see-saw algorithm, pending any final changes. The see-saw algorithm is the function that tells the network to automatically weight rewards payouts more heavily to either masternodes or stakers, based on the level of usage on either side.

We also made some progress on the lottery blocks, which I’m sure you guys already know about.

Additionally, we made headway on our Dynamic IP Capable masternode setup, which allows for simple setup of our nodes on a home computer without the hassle of port forwarding or messing with any network configurations.

We also made progress on the payout system that allows for multiple beneficiaries from masternodes.

There was still a lot of code rewrite to lower engineering debt from the previous forks as well as some additional testing.

Finally, we are essentially finished building out the QT client that will be bundled with the beta.

May the 4th be with you and have a good weekend.
